Satch and I made a trip up to Union Pier, Michigan last week to deliver work to Craig Smith and to escape for just a couple of days. On Thursday evening we had a wonderful dinner at the Bentwood Tavern with Craig and our friend, the artist, Harry Borgman.
We took our time getting back home on Friday with stops along the way at antique shops and other spots that caught our attention. Satch made a huge find which she will be using to create future works.
On Saturday we got up early and hit the Woodruff Place Flea Market. I procured some records and Satch found some material for her art. Later that afternoon we hit Jackson’s Auction Company’s sale, followed by a quick and excellent dinner at YATS.
Below are a few photographs that I made along the way.
