As a part of Satch Art Space programming, every First Friday Gallery Walk and other events will feature music. For the occasion of the grand opening, the music comes from a curated selection of jazz made by the icons of the Indianapolis scene, with an emphasis on Wes Montgomery and his brothers. The music will be played from vintage vinyl lps.
The anchor selection is a deep groove pressing of the Wes Montgomery Trio, that has the signature of Melvin R Rhyne on the back cover. This lp and the others to be played are shown below. Satch Art Space Grand Opening promises to be an extraordinary event.
