In observation of Bob Dylan’s 80th Birthday, I am sharing three exceptional photographic portraits of Dylan at his home in Malibu, California in 1985 made by our friend David Michael Kennedy. These photographs capture Dylan in exceptional situations and light as only David can do.
Dylan’s music and art has a special place in our lives, and always will. David’s photographs capture Dylan’s magic.

Reflecting upon Bob Dylan’s 80th birthday – His music has been, and will always be, a source of inspiration and perspective as well as a part of the fabric of my life. His life’s work will be appreciated for generations to come.
Over the years, Satch and I have been blessed to have experienced Bob Dylan in concert many times. And, meeting Dylan was one of the most incredible moments in our lives.
To be able to live in the same time as one of the greatest contemporary artists in history, and experience his work in real time has been a privilege. I look forward to see what is next for Bob Dylan.
