This is a series that has an interesting origination. Satch and I were walking in a building and as we stopped for a moment she says, “take a photograph of the wall.” The form that was in front of me was simple, yet the way the light worked within the lines of the wall was elegant.
This “ photographic incident” opened my eyes to be more aware of architectural elements of my environment and to experience the interplay of light and form in even the most modest of situations. Photographs are made with a Holga plastic camera.
